Zach has been cited by the Philadelphia Business Journal in their Power 100 as one of the 100 most influential people leading their industries in the city of Philadelphia and helping to shape the City’s future. City and State Magazine named him to the Philly Power 100, the most notable political players shaping the Greater Philadelphia Region, and in their Pride Power 100, a list of the most notable, out, and visible LGBTQ+ leaders creating change and progress in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He was named 2019 Person of the Year by the Philadelphia Gay News. Zach has been named an LGBTQ+ Power Player by the Philadelphia Metro News, has received an Everyday Genius leadership award from the DaVinci Art Alliance, and is a Philadelphia 76ers Game Changer Award recipient for community impact. 

He is a founding partner of the Diverse Chambers Coalition of Philadelphia, the region’s first-ever coalition of diverse chambers of commerce, consisting of local African-American, Asian-American, Hispanic, and LGBTQ+ Chambers. He has been appointed to the Philadelphia Tax Reform Commission, Mayor Parker’s Business Roundtable, and Philadelphia City Council’s Special Committee on City and Private Sector Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Policies. He was appointed to the National LGBT Chamber of Commerce National Affiliate Chamber Council Leadership. He is also a founding member of Philadelphia’s Michael S. Hinson Community Leadership Pipeline Initiative, which trains and places folks from marginalized LGBTQ+ communities onto Philadelphia-area nonprofit Boards. He has sat on the Boards for Habitat for Humanity Philadelphia’s Young Professionals and the Philadelphia Liberty Tennis Association, and currently serves on the Advisory Boards for Pew’s Philadelphia Roadmap for Quality Jobs and PHLDiversity, the diverse arm of the PHLCVB, and the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce’s Inclusive Growth Coalition. 

Combining earnest grassroots organizing with corporate, business, and legal acumen, Zach is passionate about bringing compassion, inclusion, and representation into all areas of his personal and professional life. Wilcha graduated with a B.A. in International Relations from Saint Joseph’s University and a Juris Doctor with honors from Villanova Law School. He is a native of Northeastern Pennsylvania and is a recent transplant to Collingswood, NJ, right across the river from Philadelphia, where in his spare time he’s an avid runner, biker, reader, walker of his two dogs, and book matchmaker.
