Founded in 1933, the mission of Lancaster Bible College has remained unchanged since then – to educate Christian students to think and live a biblical worldview and to serve Christ in the Church and society. Staying true to that mission, LBC | Capital – Philadelphia offers accelerated undergraduate degrees designed to help students live out God’s calling by equipping them for ministry and service. To make learning more convenient, many courses are available in the evenings, online or in a blended delivery format.

Students at LBC | Capital – Philadelphia have access to academic mentoring services, a writing center, and disability services. Academic mentoring services connect students with tutors and professional personnel who provide individualized attention to help them be successful in the classroom. The college’s writing center exists to help students brainstorm, organize, outline papers, edit, proofread assignments and much more, regardless of where a student might be in the writing process. Finally, the Disability Services Office provides disabled students with accommodations to ensure they have access to all programs, facilities and activities offered at the Philadelphia location.
Classes are offered on-campus and online in a six-week modular format which requires the student to only be in attendance weekly, from 6-10 pm, on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday. Students can obtain their associates degree in as little as 14 months or their bachelor’s degree in less than 36 months.
