Postsecondary Navigator
Cherita Merricks serves as a Postsecondary Navigator with Graduate Philadelphia, acting as the liaison at the North10 Lenfest Center. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations from the esteemed Delaware State University, and furthered her education with a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Wilmington University. With over a decade of diverse professional experience ranging from business, sales, and account management to higher education, Cherita has honed her skills in postsecondary preparation and program management.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Cherita has dedicated the past 19 years volunteering as a youth cheerleading coach, currently coaching the Uptown Warriors Youth Athletic Association. Her commitment to community service reflects her deep-rooted passion for supporting and uplifting local communities. Cherita is particularly enthusiastic about serving as a resource for individuals of color who aspire to pursue higher education, aiming to empower them on their academic journey.
